Our Story
Nearly Five Decades of Craft
Quality Sign & Marquee began in 1974 as Southland Display Co. — a family trade built on precision fabrication and a commitment to showing up ready. In 2007 we became Quality Sign & Marquee, and through two brand evolutions and five decades, the core hasn't changed: we build the first thing audiences see.
From a single circuit installation to a full convention floor in Las Vegas, we handle every phase in-house. Our 50,000 sq ft facility houses a climate-controlled print room, woodshop, metal shop, and packaging and assembly — no subcontracting, no surprises.
Studios of every size trust QSM because the work is consistent, the team is experienced, and the standards haven't drifted in nearly 50 years.
1974
Founded as Southland Display Co. in Covina, CA — fabrication, signage, and theatrical displays for local exhibitors.
1980s–90s
Expanded circuit-wide relationships with major theatrical chains. Developed marquee manufacturing as a core specialty.
2000s
Grew convention services nationally. First CinemaCon and ShowEast programs. Began expanding fulfillment capabilities.
2007
Rebranded as Quality Sign & Marquee. Launched Quality Fulfillment Services as the dedicated fulfillment arm.
2010s
Expanded to 50,000 sq ft. Added international convention work — CineEurope and global studio programs.
Today
Fully solar-powered facility. All-electric lift fleet. Five service pillars serving studios of every size — nationwide, under one roof.

Our entire 50,000 sq ft warehouse and production facility runs on a 100%-owned solar power system — clean energy without a utility dependency.
Responsible Waste Management
Paper, cardboard, and plastics are recycled locally. We work with community partners to keep production waste out of landfill where possible.
All-Electric Lift Fleet
All lift equipment — including forklifts — is electric-only. Zero emissions on the warehouse floor, day in and day out.
